I hate the new XBOX Game Pass Plans plans; oh, how I long for the days of XBOX Live Gold and XBOX Live Sliver editions, they made sense.
Now the new tiers are going to be Game Pass Core, Game Pass Console, Game Pass PC and Game Pass Ultimate.
Now here’s the really messed up part dear reader, XBOX Game Pass Core costing $10 and XBOX Game Pass Ultimate costing $17 are the only plans that include Online Console Multiplayer, which is utter and complete bullshit if you ask me.
Let’s say you have a family member coming over, and you want to let them play a kid friendly game for this example let’s say the XBOX port of “Banjo-Kazoo” or “Viva Piñata” you are forced to have GamePass Ultimate.
Somehow PlayStation Plus Essential which is the same price as Core is becoming a better value yet all the online players, I’ve met over the years along with the Discord integration keeps me on XBOX.
Microsoft, you are on thin ice with many users, and more and more I question my loyalty. I’ve been on the platform since 2010 playing halo: Reach, but if you keep this up I might be forced to pack up and leave.
